Foundation Day Focus: Helping with Dementia & Alzheimer's

memories

Football is a fantastic tool to support people suffering with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, a shared passion that stimulates memories in a fun and relaxed social group for participants to meet with others with similar interests.

Our Memories Group has been running for eight years, offering a safe and welcoming space for residents of Sandwell suffering with these diseases. We run free-to-attend weekly sessions and welcome former players and special guests to spark new conversations and hopefully memories.

If you, or you know of someone who would benefit from the Football Memories Group, click here to find out more or contact Paul.glover@albionfoundation.co.uk

Why we need your support

Keeping the Memories Group Sessions free to attend ensures access to all across our region. By supporting our fundraising we can continue to offer these sessions at no cost to our participants and offer vital support through such a difficult time for themselves and their families.

If you can, please help us to continue to deliver these programmes. To make a donation or set up a fundraiser click here for further information
