Chris Brunt & Ally Robertson recently paid a visit to The Orchard School in Oldbury, meeting all the students and staff at the school.

The Albion legends opened the school’s new Sensory Integration Room, which will support children with sensory processing difficulties.

"I've really enjoyed having a look around the school, meeting all the students and the teachers," said Brunt.

"What a fantastic job they're doing, it's such a great facility. I've learned a lot and I'll take a lot away with me as well."

The Albion legends joined Laura Valentine, Head of Teaching & Learning at The Orchard School in opening the new Sensory Integration Room, alongside parents and governors at the school.

Consultant Occupational Therapist, Debbie Bissell has been assisting staff at The Orchard School with the Sensory Integration Room, ensuring the right equipment is in place for the children and developing staff understanding on how to use the room for sensory integration purposes.

"We've developed the sensory space over a period of time and it's finally come together today," said Debbie.

"I think the school is complete - we have a multi-sensory environment in one area and we have this dedicated sensory integration space to support the needs of children with sensory processing difficulties."
