West Bromwich Albion return to Sky Bet Championship action with a trip to leaders Coventry City on Saturday lunchtime (ko 12.30pm).
The Baggies claimed three points in their final fixture before the last international break of 2025, beating Oxford United 2-1 at The Hawthorns.
Hosts Coventry have made a storming start to the season and head into the encounter with Ryan Mason's team five points clear of Middlesbrough in second.
The Sky Blues also went into the international window on the back of a victory. Frank Lampard's outfit won 1-0 at fellow high-flyers Stoke City thanks to Ephron Mason-Clark's late strike.

The opposition
Coventry City fans are dreaming of a return to the top flight of English football having watched their team make their best ever start to a league campaign.
The Sky Blues haven't played in the Premier League since the 2000/01 term, but Saturday's hosts are by far the standout performers in the Sky Bet Championship so far.
City sit five points clear at the top of the table after 15 matches played. They've won ten of those, drawn four and lost just one - a 3-2 setback at Wrexham on Halloween night.
Frank Lampard's team are on fire in front of goal, notching 40 already - 14 more than both Hull City and Ipswich Town who sit joint-second on the goals scored chart.
They've been incredibly strong at the CBS Arena, winning six of their eight games there. The last time Saturday's hosts were beaten on home soil was in the play-off semi-final against Sunderland in May.
Lampard, a former Premier League winner with Chelsea in his playing days, joined Coventry in November 2024 having also managed the Stamford Bridge boys, as well as Derby County and Everton. The 47-year-old has had 50 games in charge, winning 27, drawing ten and losing 13.
Memorable meeting
The Baggies put on a five-star showing at the CBS Arena to secure safe passage to the last eight of the FA Cup in February 2008.
Goals from Chris Brunt, Roman Bednar (2), Ishmael Miller and Zoltan Gera sealed a resounding 5-0 triumph over the Sky Blues.

Albion's recent record at the CBS Arena
Coventry City 2-0 Albion, April 2025
Tony Mowbray's Baggies suffered a disappointing defeat at Coventry towards the back end of the 2024/25 campaign. Jack Rudoni opened the scoring as early as the sixth minute, and the Sky Blues scored in the first moments of the second period too - Matt Grimes capitalising on an error to double the advantage. Callum Styles was dismissed three minutes after Grimes' goal and the Albion weren't in a position to recover.
Coventry City 0-2 Albion, October 2023
Albion earned a hard-fought win at Coventry at the end of October in the 2023/24 term. Grady Diangana prodded home the first goal of the night inside the opening 20 minutes and Brandon Thomas-Asante wrapped up the victory with a tremendous finish in the middle of the second 45. Watch the highlights below.
Coventry City 1-0 Albion, December 2022
The hosts claimed three second-tier points in dramatic circumstances four days before Christmas in 2022. The encounter looked to be heading for a 0-0 draw, but the Sky Blues were awarded a spot-kick in second-half added time. Sweden international Viktor Gyokeres stepped up and converted past Alex Palmer, securing a last-gasp triumph in the process.
How's that for a stat
Both fixtures between the two clubs ended in a 2-0 victory for the home side in 2024/25. Albion were beaten 2-0 at the CBS Arena in April, a result which halted a run of four consecutive victories against the Sky Blues.
The hosts are the top scorers in the second tier with 40 goals. That's 14 more than the joint-second highest scorers, Hull City and Ipswich Town.
Frank Lampard's team are unbeaten in eight home matches in all competitions this season (W6, D2). They've won their last four at the CBS Arena, scoring three goals in three of those games. The last time they were beaten in front of their own supporters was in the first leg of the 2024/25 Sky Bet Championship play-off semi-final in early May.
The Baggies have won twice as many of the head-to-heads, claiming 36 triumphs compared to Coventry's 18. There have also been 17 draws between the two teams. Saturday's clash will be the 72nd meeting.
Colours for the road
The Baggies will wear the black away kit at the CBS Arena on Saturday.
The last time the Albion wore those specific colours was at Watford in October.
