West Bromwich Albion play their penultimate home Sky Bet Championship match of the 2025/26 campaign on Tuesday night.
The Baggies, who extended their unbeaten run to eight games with a 2-0 triumph at Preston North End on Saturday, face mid-table Watford under the lights at The Hawthorns (ko 7.45pm).
The Hornets arrive in the West Midlands having lost 2-0 at home to Sheffield United on the same afternoon as Albion's success at Deepdale - their third defeat in their last four fixtures.
Albion suffered a narrow 2-1 setback at Vicarage Road in the reverse fixture back in October. Isaac Price curled in an impressive strike from outside the box, but efforts from Imran Louza and Rocco Vata did the damage for Watford that night.

The opposition
Watford are heading into the final three games of the 2025/26 campaign with their sights set on securing a top-half finish despite not winning any of their last five (D2, L3).
The Hornets were as high as fourth after beating Birmingham City 3-0 at home on New Year's Day, but they've won just three Sky Bet Championship matches since, losing eight and drawing seven - a run of results which means they'll head to The Hawthorns sat in 14th position.
Tuesday's guests are one of five teams on 57 points, with just three points separating Bristol City in tenth and Stoke City in 17th.
Watford are without a win in four away matches and have lost their last three at Oxford United, QPR and Stoke City. Their overall record on their travels reads four wins, eight draws and nine defeats.
Edward Still is the man in charge. The 35-year-old, who has also had spells managing Royal Charleroi, K.A.S. Eupen and K.V. Kortrijk in Belgium, was appointed in the middle of February. He's the club's third permanent boss this season, following on from Paulo Pezzolano and Javi Gracia.
Still, the brother of former Southampton gaffer Will Still, has won three, drawn four and lost five of his 12 Watford fixtures and will be determined to deliver positive results in their remaining encounters against Albion, Middlesbrough and Coventry City.
Memorable meeting
Albion defeated the Hornets by three goals to one at The Hawthorns in a fiery Premier League fixture in December 2016.
Jonny Evans opened the scoring 16 minutes in with a powerful header before Chris Brunt made it 2-0 ahead of the break courtesy of a deflected free-kick.
Christian Kabasele pulled one back for Watford on the hour, but the visitors then had Roberto Pereyra dismissed inside the final ten minutes.
The Baggies sealed all three points late on when Matt Phillips drilled the ball into the far corner. Check out the highlights below.

Recent record on home soil against the Hornets
Albion 2-1 Watford, April 2025
Albion were victorious the last time they welcomed Watford. Karlan Grant stroked home from the edge of the box to give the hosts an 11th-minute advantage, and Mikey Johnston nodded in from close range on the hour to double that lead. Moussa Sissoko's powerful drive halved the deficit with just under 15 minutes remaining, but the Baggies held on to pick up maximum points. Check out the action below.
Albion 2-2 Watford, April 2024
A tremendous late effort from right-back Darnell Furlong rescued a point on Easter Monday in 2024. Second-half goals from Edo Kayembe and Mileta Rajovic gave the visitors a 2-0 lead, but Brandon Thomas-Asante gave Carlos Corberán's team hope with 20 minutes to go - cracking in a powerful strike from a tight angle on the right side of the box. With time running out, Furlong saved the day. The defender took aim from the edge of the penalty area and picked out the top corner brilliantly to earn a 2-2 draw.
Albion 1-1 Watford, August 2022
The two teams played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in what was the first home game of the 2022/23 term. Watford went 1-0 up as early as the 12th minute when Ismaila Sarr lobbed David Button from inside his own half. But the Baggies, who had earlier missed several fantastic opportunities to score, responded before the break. Karlan Grant controlled a pass over the top and confidently placed the ball into the top corner, away from Daniel Bachmann. Both teams had chances to win the contest in the second 45, but it ended level in B71.
Pre-match stats
Tuesday's fixture will be the third year in-a-row the Albion have welcomed Watford to The Hawthorns in April. It will be seventh time they've come up against each other in April in nine of last years where they've been in the same division.
The hosts are on a five-match unbeaten run at The Hawthorns against Watford, winning two and drawing three. The Hornets' last triumph at Albion's home was a 1-0 success in the Premier League in April 2016.
