The Albion Foundation are delighted to launch the first-ever ‘Tour De Midlands’

The Albion Foundation are teaming up with other club foundations across the West Midlands for an exciting new ‘Tour De Midlands’ charity cycle event on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

The event will start and finish at the iconic Alexander Stadium and the 40-mile route will take in the region’s professional football grounds – stopping off at Villa Park, St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park, The Hawthorns, Molineux and Bescot Stadium during the challenge.

The Albion Foundation fundraisers will join others representing the foundations from Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Wolves and Walsall to put the pedal to the metal in support of our club’s charity work across the local community.

“We’re pleased to welcome participants for this exciting cycle challenge,” Deputy Director Jonathan Ward said. “It’s a great opportunity for daring cyclists to tick some grounds off their checklist while raising money for such a great cause.

“Our cycle challenges have such a massive impact on the local community, so to bring a new one into the frame, where participants will enjoy plenty of stops – is really exciting.”

Registration for the challenge is £35, including a unique Tour de Midlands t-shirt and medal, with participants encouraged to raise a minimum of £150 for The Albion Foundation.

The event is for adults (18+) only, and places are limited for each Foundation on a first-come first-serve basis – so sign up now before they’re gone!
