Tammer Bany makes Jordan debut as Chris Mepham earns another Wales cap

Tammer Bany made his international debut for Jordan on Tuesday night. 

The midfielder started for his country as they drew 0-0 with Mali in a friendly which was played at the Hammadi Agrebi Stadium in Tunisia.

Bany completed 70 minutes of the goalless draw before being replaced. 

Elsewhere, Chris Mepham was brough on as a late substitute for Wales who cruised to a 7-1 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying win over North Macedonia. 

The Baggies defender replaced Joe Rodon with eight minutes remaining at the Cardiff City Stadium on a night where the Red Dragons secured second place in Group J and a World Cup play-off spot. 

Harry Wilson scored a hat-trick, with David Brooks, Brennan Johnson, Dan James and Nathan Broadhead all on target too. Bojan Miovski notched North Macedonia’s only goal.

Both Tammer and Chris will now return to the Albion ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Coventry City at the CBS Arena.
