Ryan Mason has been nominated for August’s Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award.
The Baggies boss has made an excellent start to his managerial career, guiding Albion to three victories and one draw from their opening four matches in the second tier.
Mason has seen his side claim triumphs over Blackburn Rovers, Wrexham and Stoke City and draw against Portsmouth.
Albion, who return to action on Saturday when Derby County come to town following the first international break of the season, sit second in the standings.
Mason faces competition from Rob Edwards at Middlesbrough, Frank Lampard at Coventry City and Mark Robins at Stoke City.
The winner will be announced on Friday, September 12. Former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies make up the judging panel.
