Three Baggies players featured for their nations on Friday.

Academy duo Alex Williams and Ollie Bostock were on hand to help Wales’ U21 side to a 2-0 home win over Belarus in UEFA Euro U21 qualifying.

Williams completed the entirety of the contest, with Bostock introduced to the action in the 75th minute at Newport County’s Rodney Parade.

The triumph lifted Wales above their opponents into fourth position in Group I. The Albion pair will have their sights set on another cap on Tuesday when they head to Denmark for another qualifier.

Elsewhere, on-loan attacker Jamal Jimoh-Aloba played the final 21 minutes of England’s 3-3 draw away to Italy at U20s level.

Jimoh-Aloba replaced Tom Watson at the Riano Athletic Centre. Watson had earlier scored twice for the Young Lions, with Ayden Heaven also finding the net for the visitors.

Italy’s goalscorers were Matteo Lavelli, Giacomo Stabile and Dominic Vavassori.
