Albion winger Kamil Grosicki captained Poland and scored a hat-trick to help defeat Finland 5-1 in an international friendly yesterday evening.
The 32-year-old netted a first-half treble in the space of 40 minutes as the Poles stormed into a commanding 3-0 lead at the interval.
Grosicki played 62 minutes before being substituted and his side’s victory will have prepared them well going into a double-header of important UEFA Nations League matches.
The Baggies attacker will be hoping his recent clinical display will put him in contention to start when Poland face Italy on Sunday evening before wrapping up their international fixtures against Bosnia Herzegovina.
