Ryan Mason believes Albion fully deserved their three points at Wrexham on Saturday afternoon.
The Baggies beat the Red Dragons 3-2 in North Wales thanks to Isaac Price’s classy brace and Jed Wallace’s powerful finish.
Mason’s men had to fight and deal with several long balls played forward by the hosts, but were also able to “influence” the encounter with their own style according to the boss.
He says it’s a great feeling to secure a second consecutive win in the league and a first away triumph since November 2024.

Ryan said: “That was really positive and I’m really happy. I thought we deserved it. It was a really good performance away from home.
“We understand how difficult it is to win away from home in this league. Obviously last season the club went a long time without winning away and it’s not okay for a club of this size to do that. It was nice to win that first home game and it’s great to win our first away game.
“We have to stay humble, keep working and keep pushing.
“There was a real togetherness today. We had to deal with balls into our box, long balls and second balls. We really earned the right to influence the game from our side of things and we’ll need that going forward.

“We understood the challenge and there was lots of energy inside the stadium, but we imposed our style relatively early on in the game. We definitely deserved the win in my opinion.
“We’re obviously disappointed to have conceded two goals but that’s not going to impact the feeling of us winning a game of football away from home – something we haven’t done for such a long time.
“It was obviously 1-1 heading into the final stages and it’s really pleasing when you make changes and a goal arrives almost instantly. We’re all delighted for the goalscorers today, Jed Wallace and Isaac Price.
“It’s great when the subs can impact the game and help you win. We know we’re going to need everyone in the squad to help us get results.
“We’re so pleased to give the supporters that result today. We felt their support in the stands. They were absolutely amazing and our target is to give them many more away days like that one throughout the term.”
