Albion rounded off pre-season with a 1-1 draw against Premier League Coventry City at The Hawthorns on Tuesday evening.
Behind closed doors, James Morrison's side started far more brightly than their top-flight opponents, creating four brilliant chances in the opening 15 minutes.
Jimmy-Jay Morgan, Ousmane Diakité and Aune Heggebø each had opportunities that narrowly missed the target before Isaac Price's low drive had Coventry keeper Ben Wilson scrambling across his goal.
However, it was the visitors who broke the deadlock when Loum Tchaouna fired home from a tight angle with 26 minutes on the clock.
However, the Baggies were undeterred and continued to create openings before netting a deserved equaliser. It came when Morgan latched onto a loose pass and drove forward, sliding his strike under Wilson from 18 yards.
In the second half, Morrison's men continued to impress despite making eight changes at the break. Price and substitute Tammer Bany each took aim, with Bany forcing a good save and then hitting the crossbar shortly after his introduction.
The next action saw the visitors hit the post through Brandon Thomas-Asante in the 82nd minute, but Matt Ingram seemed to have the strike covered.
Coventry threatened with two more late efforts, but these were both deflected away from danger, ensuring Albion concluded pre-season with a positive result at The Hawthorns.
James Morrison's squad will be in competitive action for their next match as they take on Rotherham United at the ASSEAL New York Stadium in the Carabao Cup on Saturday.
