Loan Watch | Trio feature on final day of Sky Bet League One & Vanarama National League

Caleb Taylor in action for Wycombe in their red away kit

Three Albion players were in action for their respective loan sides over the May bank holiday weekend.

Defender Caleb Taylor completed 90 minutes for Wycombe Wanderers who suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Stockport County on the final day of the regular Sky Bet League One campaign.

Garath McCleary opened the scoring for the hosts, but three goals in the last 20 minutes of the encounter from Benony Andresson, Oliver Norwood and Will Collar secured the points for County.

Wycombe ended the term in fifth position and will meet Charlton Athletic in the third-tier play-off semi-finals.

Elsewhere, goalkeeper Ted Cann and striker Reyes Cleary went head-to-head in the Vanarama National League.

Hartlepool United and Forest Green Rovers drew 1-1 on Monday in the north east, with Clearly playing 68 minutes for the Pools and Cann completing 90 for Rovers.

Reyes picked out David Ferguson in the 37th minute for the opening goal, but Cann’s team found an equaliser in the penultimate minute of the match courtesy of Christian Doidge’s header.

The result means Hartlepool finished 11th, with Forest Green coming third. Tedd and his team will now prepare for the play-offs and the opportunity to fight for promotion to the Football League.
