HEAD-TO-HEAD
The two rivals will contest the 164th Black Country derby on Sunday. Albion boast the better head-to-head record, claiming 65 wins to Wolves' 54. There have also been 44 draws.
This weekend's clash will be the first between the two clubs at Molineux where fans have been present since February 2012 when the Baggies secured a 5-1 triumph. Albion won there in January 2021 in the top tier, but that encounter was played behind closed doors owing to COVID-19 restrictions.
None of the last nine head-to-heads at Molineux have finished level. Albion have won six of those nine, with Wolves claiming victories in the other three. The last time a Black Country derby ended in a draw at Molineux was in October 1999.

Boss James Morrison played in five Black Country derbies for the Baggies between 2008 and 2012. He helped his side to three victories and one draw, and was only on the losing team once.
WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS
Wolves return to Molineux on Sunday afternoon having played four successive matches on their travels. They've had trips to West Ham United, Birmingham City and Sheffield United in the Championship, as well as Everton in the Carabao Cup. They won one, drew one and lost two of those four fixtures. Their most recent home game was on August 29 - a 4-1 victory over Stoke City.
Cesar Peixoto's team failed to score for the first time this season at Everton on Wednesday night. They'd found the back of the net in eight straight matches prior to their trip to Merseyside.
Wanderers are hoping to extend their unbeaten home run to six matches this weekend. They've won two and drawn three of their last five in all competitions in front of their own supporters.
The last time Wolves kept a league clean sheet at Molineux was in another West Midlands derby against Aston Villa on February 27, 2026. They beat the Villans 2-0, but have since conceded in all of their last six league games at their home stadium.
WEST BROMWICH ALBION
The Baggies head into the derby on a four-match unbeaten run (W2, D2), and having lost just one of their first seven Championship matches.
Albion have scored in all five away games in all competitions so far this season, netting ten in total. James Morrison's side have hit the back of the net in 11 of their last 12 encounters on their travels across all league and cup fixtures.
The Baggies have also scored in every game this season and in their last 10 in total. They've scored exactly one goal in all of their last five matches (Middlesbrough, Charlton Athletic, Watford, Derby County and QPR). The last time they failed to score in a fixture was the 0-0 draw at home to Ipswich Town in April.
