Albion’s Jayson Molumby has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for their friendly encounters with Qatar and Canada.
The Boys in Green begin this batch of international fixtures by hosting the Maroons at Aviva Stadium on Thursday, May 28 (ko 7.45pm), as their opponents begin preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Molumby’s men then head to Stade Saputo to face World Cup co-hosts Canada in their final exhibition match of the summer on Saturday, June 6 (ko 12.30am).
The midfielder most recently featured for his nation in a 5-0 friendly victory over Grenada in Murcia, where Tom Cannon (2) and Jack Moylan (3) were on target.
