Isaac Price and Northern Ireland end international break unbeaten after goalless Georgia draw

Isaac Price for Northern Ireland.

Albion’s Isaac Price and Northern Ireland were held a goalless draw by Georgia in their final UEFA Nations League tie of the international break on Monday evening.

It was a competitive encounter in Belfast with little in the way of clear-cut chances for either side, but the midfielder could’ve scored a late penalty with just six minutes left to play, seeing Liverpool goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili equal to his strike from 12 yards.

Monday’s result means the Green and White Army maintain their unbeaten start in League B, and Price’s men remain top of their group with eight points from four matches played.

And they'll have hopes of completing their group run without fault when they return to the competition in November.
