Jayson Molumby played the final 27 minutes of the Republic of Ireland's 2-2 draw with Austria in League B of the UEFA Nations League on Thursday night.
The Baggies midfielder replaced Swansea City forward Adam Idah shortly after the hour mark at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, with goalkeeper Max O'Leary remaining on the substitutes bench.
Troy Parrott bagged a first-half brace, but the visitors struck back twice after the interval to secure a point - Alexander Prass and Michael Gregoritsch notching in the Irish capital.
The result leaves Ireland third in Group 3 after three matches, level on points with Kosovo, three behind Austria and three ahead of Israel. Jayson and Max will both hope to feature on Sunday evening when the Boys In Green face Israel in Serbia.
Elsewhere, defender Chris Mepham was an unused substitute for Wales who beat Norway 2-1 at home in League A of the same competition. The Baggies man will want to add another cap to his collection on Sunday when the Welsh welcome Denmark to Cardiff.
