Albion’s Isaac Price bagged the telling assist as Northern Ireland beat Guinea 1-0 in Gibraltar on Thursday evening
The Baggies talisman started the friendly match for the Green and White Army and made his mark on the game after just nine minutes.
The 22-year-old produced an inviting ball from the right-hand side, leaving Tom Atcheson, who was later sent off in the tie, to flick the eventual winner in from close range.
Price played 64 minutes against the Syli National, and will hope to turn out again for Michael O’Neill’s men against France in Lille on Monday, as the hosts step up their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Elsewhere, Ousmane Diakité was named amongst the substitutes for Mali as they were beaten 2-0 by Iran in Antalya.
