Goalkeeper Anna Miller is the next member of the squad to take on the This and That questions!
The American stopper talks about where her love for football started, the former Premier League keeper who she supported in Seattle, her favourite tv show growing up, the way she likes to end a warm up and so much more!

Anna, to start, please can you tell us your earliest memory of football?
Wow. Let me think. Probably playing under-7s in a recreational league out in Seattle. All of our parents were the coaches and it was just utter chaos, always! We played with something that we called pug goals, I’m not sure what you guys call them here in England. They’re little tiny fold-up goals.
What was the first football shirt you owned?
It was a Kasey Keller shirt. He was the goalkeeper for Seattle Sounders and I was the biggest fan! He played in the Premier League during his career and also for USA.
What’s your favourite meal to eat after a game?
Nando’s. I love a Nando’s.
We’re not sure if this one will apply to you, but what’s the best goal you’ve ever scored?
I’ve never actually scored a goal, but I am really hoping to get assist before the season finishes.
What’s the best stadium you’ve ever played at?
Obviously The Hawthorns is really nice. Turf Moor was really fun to play at when we faced Burnley. They had a really nice pitch.
Who is your favourite band or artist?
Noah Kahan. I love his music.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Don’t take life too seriously.
What was your favourite show to watch growing up?
SpongeBob SquarePants. That guy is brilliant.
Does chocolate belong in the fridge?
Oof. That depends what the chocolate is. I wouldn’t put a Cadbury bar of chocolate in the fridge, but I might put others in there.
What’s your dream holiday destination?
Greece. Literally anywhere in Greece.
What’s your job?
I’m a player care officer for Birmingham City’s boys academy.
Is pineapple on a pizza acceptable?
Yes. No hesitation at all. Yes it is.
What’s the proudest moment of your life?
My word that one is deep. Getting my degree maybe, because that was really hard.
Which celebrity would you choose to spend the day with if you had the chance?
Meryl Streep.
Do you believe in aliens?
Yes. Yes I do.
Name one thing you think is overrated in life?
I don’t know if this counts or nor, but you know how you guys use a sink bucket. Like a washing up bowl. Those are overrated.
Any quirky superstitions on a matchday?
In the warm up, I need to end it with a save. I can’t go into a game having not finished with a save in the warm up.
What’s the strangest way you’ve ever picked up an injury?
When I was about 12, my team won a penalty shootout and we were all celebrating. Everyone fell on top of me and I actually sprained my ankle really badly.
What is one thing that annoys you about social media?
It’s not real is it, let’s be honest.
