Albion's Under-18s twice recovered from losing positions to claim an important point against Leicester City's youngsters on Saturday afternoon.

Reyes Cleary continued his fine form in front of goal by netting the game's opener after just three minutes.

But goals from Jack Butterfill and Christopher Popov in the ninth and 25th minute helped the young Foxes turn the game around.

Still, Peter Gilbert's side showed their resilience by levelling the scores before the interval as Cleary's second of the game and 10th goal of the U18 Premier League season ensured it was 2-2 at half-time.

However, events in the second half meant Albion's young guns had another challenge to overcome when Joe Wormleighton restored Leicester's advantage with 23 minutes left to play.

Again, though, the hosts hit back and Layton Love made the desired impact off the bench, converting a spot-kick with 17 minutes remaining to seal a share of the points for Gilbert's men.

The draw means Albion's 18s have now lost just one of their last four league games, and they'll be hoping to extend their unbeaten run when they travel to local rivals Aston Villa on Saturday, November 20 (ko 11am).

Albion: Hollingshead; Hall, Ngoma, Machisa; Nelson, Richards, Hoard, Shaw (Olofinjana 46); Hurlock (Okoka 71), Cleary (Love 63), Oliver.
