Albion made it nine Sky Bet Championship matches unbeaten with a comfortable victory over Watford on Tuesday evening.
Strikes from Isaac Price and Daryl Dike had James Morrison’s men in control by halfway, while Danny Imray was on target in the second period to seal an impressive victory at The Hawthorns.
Josh Maja and midfielder Price began the Baggies’ early efforts on goal by firing consecutive opportunities into the arms of Egil Selvik from range.
The two were involved in the opener for the hosts moments later, as the latter threaded a smart ball down the line for the galloping Danny Imray, who cut a pass back to the former - leaving the Northern Ireland international the chance to slam home the first of the evening.
The visitors offered a bit more in response to going a goal behind. Max O’Leary batted away a firm long-range test from Nampalys Mendy, prior to watching Nestory Irankunda’s header launch over his crossbar.
Forward Dike nodded a cross marginally wide just after, but soon made amends as he put away Albion’s second. The American muscled his way to the front post to flick Price’s deflected free-kick into the roof of the net to double the hosts’ lead before half-time.
A quieter beginning to the second period saw Alex Mowatt slice wide of the target, and visiting forward Luca Kjerrumgaard nod into O'Leary's gloves.
But the hosts weren’t done with their goalscoring endeavours, as Maja’s prod towards goal ricocheted into the path of full-back Imray, who pounced upon the loose ball to tuck away the Baggies’ third, and his first in navy-blue-and-white.
It was fairly plain sailing for the hosts from then on, as they held out for a well-earned three points in their penultimate home match of the 2025/26 campaign.
