2023/24 Fixtures | Key Dates

An Albion badge, a Championship badge and key dates written out with the numbers 23 and 24

Excitement is building for the new Sky Bet Championship campaign following the release of the 2023/24 fixtures – and below are some key dates for your diary.

Albion will begin the campaign with an away game at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, August 5, before hosting their first match at The Hawthorns against Swansea City on Saturday, August 12.

Here’s how August shapes up for Carlos Corberán’s men:

There are plenty of clashes against our Midlands neighbours to look forward to this season.

It will be a trip to Birmingham City on Saturday, October 7 which kicks off the first of eight local matches with Blues, Coventry City, Leicester City and Stoke City.

Albion will return to the King Power Stadium in April 2024

Albion have faced five of the six Championship newcomers in recent years, but in Plymouth Argyle Corberán’s side take on a team they haven’t played for more than a decade.

The Green Army come to The Hawthorns for the first time since 2009 on Saturday, October 21, and the Baggies are due to make the reverse journey on Saturday, January 27.

Another packed festive period awaits Albion, which will see them face four fixtures in the space of 10 days over Christmas.

The Baggies host Norwich City on Boxing Day, followed by a journey to Swansea City on New Year’s Day.

Albion visit Millwall on Good Friday, which is on March 29, 2024, before hosting Watford on Easter Monday (April 1, 2024).

Albion are at The Den on Good Friday this season

The Baggies’ final away game will be at Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough on Saturday, April 27.

And they will end the season on home soil, hosting Preston North End on Saturday, May 4.
