Premier League Inspires

Premier League Inspires is a personal development programme, developed by the Premier League and professional football clubs, and supported by the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA).

The Albion Foundations Premier League funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund is a mix of 1-1 and small group mentoring sessions delivered in schools.

Through the Premier League Inspires programme, we aim to inspire young people aged 11-18 at risk of not reaching their potential, to develop the personal skills and positive attitudes needed to succeed in life.

Premier League Inspires empowers participants to develop personal, social, employability and life-skills, through a series of regular face-to-face group sessions, mentoring, workshops and social-action projects, providing pupils with the help they need now and supporting them to plan for their future.

Premier League Inspires objectives

Through Premier League Inspires, the Premier League and professional football clubs will:

IWD Event

The Inspires programme aims to support young people to explore a variety of topics both inside and outside of school. A big part of the programme is access to collapsed curriculum time at The Hawthorns Stadium, where students complete fun and educational opportunities outside of school settings. On International Women’s Day, 30 young people from Sandwell attended an event, where they benefitted from female guest speakers and worked towards a project that encouraged equality for all!
