The Baggies were beaten 3-0 by Fulham at Motspur Park on Saturday.
The Cottagers were by far the better outfit in the opening period and had a three-goal lead at the interval following efforts from Aidan Evans, Seth Chingwaro and Tarrell Cavell.
Albion delivered a much-improved showing in the second 45 and created a number of chances to get back into the game, but Chay Thompson’s team were unable to take any of them and put the hosts under pressure.
The youngsters return to action on Wednesday night when they welcome AFC Bournemouth to The Hawthorns for an FA Youth Cup third-round tie (ko 7pm).
ALBION: Moses (Lines HT), Abudu (Perkins HT), DuPont (Crowther 60), Shaw, Maughan, Blackshields, Iddrisa, Letlat, Colesby, Parmar (McNeil HT), Francis-Caesar (Okorodudu HT).
