Albion suffered a narrow 2-1 pre-season defeat to Blackpool on Saturday afternoon.
The home team grabbed an early two-goal advantage through Niall Ennis and Jordan Brown in Lancashire.
Although Ousmane Diakite pulled one back for Ryan Mason’s side, they ultimately couldn’t find another at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool almost netted during the opening stages when George Honeyman latched onto a loose pass, only to smash over despite being well-placed.
However, the hosts did soon go ahead via striker Ennis, who fired home the game’s first goal inside 14 minutes.
Their lead was then doubled midway through the period courtesy of Brown’s low, pinpoint finish.
Still, Albion were keen to ensure the travelling fans had something to reward their excellent support, and they halved the deficit before the break.
Midfielder Diakite was the man to rise highest and head Alex Mowatt’s corner past Tangerines goalkeeper Franco Ravizzoli, getting the Baggies back in it come half-time.

Mason’s visitors created numerous opportunities following the restart, with Nat Phillips nodding wide and Diakite having a low strike comfortably saved.
Ashley Fletcher had a goal disallowed for Blackpool but, other than that, Albion probably looked more likely to net again.
Karlan Grant raced in one-on-one yet couldn’t quite squeeze his finish under Ravizzoli. He frustratingly saw an effort ruled out for offside, too, after executing a lovely chip.
There were a flurry of late changes, though the scoreline remained 2-1, condemning the Baggies to their first pre-season defeat this year.
