Albion Women are pleased to confirm the permanent signing of defender Lucy Day.
The Wales U19 international has committed her future to the Baggies after playing for the club last season on a dual-registration deal from Birmingham City.
Lucy featured in nine games for Siobhan Hoggetts-Still's side last term, scoring an impressive four goals from defence.
She also featured in all three UEFA WU19 Euro qualifiers for Wales in Switzerland in April, playing every minute as they beat their counterparts from England and Latvia, and lost to Switzerland.
Speaking to the club, Lucy said: "I'm very excited to be back. I want to continue from where I left off last season and hopefully push for promotion.
"The girls and the staff made me feel so welcome last year, so it was a no-brainer to come back and carry on here.
“I spoke to Siobhan Hodgetts-Still at the end of last season about playing regularly, and how that’s important for a young player to develop. It’s important to get regular minutes and to be comfortable where you’re playing; that’s how I’ll feel here.
"The girls were fantastic last season and now I'm here all the time, I can build stronger connections. I think together we can push for the top. It feels like a very exciting project."
Welcome to the Albion, Lucy!
