Josh Maja has been named the PFA Community Champion for West Bromwich Albion following his incredible off-the-field efforts in the 2024/25 season.
The award recognises players who have made an outstanding contribution to the local community during the campaign - something the Baggies' No.9 went above and beyond with.
The Nigerian forward visited several SEND partner schools throughout the year, going the extra mile by sending gift packages to pupils in the Christmas period.
“I’m truly honoured to be nominated for this award,” said Josh.
“Everyone connected to the football club knows that The Albion Foundation do an amazing job in our local community – and as footballers, we understand how privileged we are.
“The visits we’ve done during the season have been truly humbling, meeting some amazing children and inspirational people.
“Gifting them a small something was no trouble at all. I believe it’s always important we get involved when we can and show our appreciation for the incredible work they complete every day.”
