The Albion Foundation are delighted to announce Jim Doran Hand Controls (JDHC) as the official travel sponsors for Albion Powerchair as they make the journey to Paris for the FIPFA Club World Cup later this month.
Midland-based JDHC is a family run company with over 40 years’ experience in design and installation of hand controls for disabled drivers.
JDHC pride themselves on a holistic approach for each customer, starting from steering wheel aids to the impressive space drive systems.
Albion Powerchair Player/Coach Chris Gordon says that the partnership has an “amazing story” behind it.

“There’s an amazing story to share here,” Gordon began. “Multiple players from within the squad will be driving over to Paris in vans that JDHC have adapted with specialist hand controls.
“We hope to capture the journey and promote the freedom and independence that their work can bring to the disability community. This is all while supporting our players to compete on the biggest stage.
“We’d like to thank JDHC for their support and hope we can make them proud with our performances in Paris.”

Andy Doran, Operations Manager at JDHC says the company is “excited” to be supporting Albion Powerchair as they take to the international stage.
“The JDHC owners and staff are passionate about two things; Football and serving the disabled community,” Andy said. “We are so excited to be sponsoring an event that combines the two.
“JDHC staff will be cheering on the West Bromwich Albion team this summer at the FIPFA Club World Cup in Paris, we will be watching every match and sharing your progress with our customers. Come on you Baggies.”
