Young goalkeeper Harriet Grimshaw has joined Albion Women ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The Staffordshire shot-stopper spent last year at Stoke City, where she made 10 appearances in the FAWNL - the same division as the Baggies.

Harriet had previously featured for the Potters' reserves before landing a place in Sheffield United's Academy. She then joined Stourbridge Women and was named the FAWNL North Player of the Season in 2025.

Harriet said: "I'm really excited to join the club. It's a new start, a new beginning and it'll be good to meet everyone and get started.

"Shev and Martyn have made me feel so welcome. Getting to know them as people as well as management has been really good so far.

"And I've known Charlotte Clarke through college and all round my football career, so I can't wait to be working with her.

"I can't wait to get going. The off-season has felt like ages so I'm really excited to be back."
