Four Baggies featured for their national sides on Tuesday.
It was a memorable night for Aune Heggebø who made his senior debut for Norway as they recorded a thumping 11-1 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying win over Moldova in Oslo.
The Albion man replaced Erling Haaland in added time in the second 45 after the Manchester City star had bagged five goals.
Thelo Aasgaard hit four, with Felix Myhre and Martin Odegaard also registering successful strikes for the hosts. The enormous triumph leaves Norway top of Group I, six points clear of Italy in second who have played one match less.

Elsewhere in European World Cup qualifiers, there were narrow Group F defeats for both Callum Styles and Mikey Johnston with Hungary and Republic of Ireland respectively.
Styles started as the Hungarians lost 3-2 in Budapest to Portugal, completing 81 minutes before being replaced by Milan Vitalis. Barnabas Varga scored both goals for the hosts, but the visitors claimed all three points thanks to efforts from Bernardo Silva, Cristiano Ronaldo (pen) and Joao Cancelo who bagged the winner four minutes from time.
Johnston, meanwhile, came on with 20 remaining and Ireland 2-1 down in Armenia following strikes from Eduard Spertsyan (pen) and Grant-Leon Ranos for the home side and Even Ferguson for Mikey's men.
The Boys In Green pushed for a leveller in Yerevan, but were unable to find one.
Those two scores mean Ireland sit bottom of the four-team group on one point from two games. Hungary are second, three points behind Portugal.

Finally, defender Chris Mepham played the final five minutes of Wales' 1-0 friendly defeat to Canada in Swansea.
Derek Cornelius scored the contest's only goal in the 41st minute.
All four players will now return to Ryan Mason's Albion squad ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship clash with Derby County at The Hawthorns (ko 3pm).
