The Albion Foundation closed the school term in the most heartwarming way—through its annual Christmas Give Back, an initiative designed to support participants and families in need during the festive season while expressing gratitude to those who have championed the Foundation throughout the year.
This year’s event saw 62 dedicated staff members divided into teams, each assigned a nominated family or individual alongside a “thank you” recipient. These nominations came from the Foundation’s partnerships and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring that support reached those who needed it most. Armed with case studies, staff set out to source and purchase essential items and gifts tailored to their assigned families. To add a sprinkle of festive fun, teams were challenged with creative tasks to document their journey through engaging video vlogs, capturing the spirit of giving in action.
The response from the nominated families was nothing short of heartwarming. Gratitude and appreciation flowed freely, reinforcing the importance of community and connection during the holiday season. Beyond the immediate impact on families, the day fostered stronger bonds among staff, offering them a chance to explore the breadth of the Foundation’s work and collaborate in a meaningful way.
This incredible day of giving was made possible thanks to the generosity of local businesses and partners.
