Albion left-back Callum Styles has signed a new four-year contract, keeping him at The Hawthorns until the summer of 2030.

The Hungary international was dubbed “Mr Consistent” by Head Coach James Morrison after a 2025/26 campaign where he picked up both the Supporters’ Player and Players’ Player of the Season awards.

Styles has played 82 games for the Baggies across all competitions since arriving from Barnsley in 2024, becoming a mainstay in Albion’s back-four while growing increasingly popular with fans thanks to his dependable displays.

And in a candid WBA TV interview, where Callum brought his dog Oakley to the Fitlife Foods Performance Centre for a walk-and-talk, he explained why penning the extension was such an easy decision.

The 26-year-old said: “As soon as I heard from my agent that the club wanted to extend, it was a matter of asking ‘when can you get the deal done?’.

“It’s just felt like the right connection. Players can go to clubs and not click, but I think it’s really clicked for me here.

“Ever since I first played at The Hawthorns, I remember getting thumped when I was at Barnsley, 4-0. I think it was the last game of the season.

“And I was like ‘wow what a club this is’, genuinely. And then the move happened in the summer of 2024. Since then, I’ve embraced every minute and it’s been amazing.

“I’ve loved it here from the first day and I’m hoping we can achieve better things in the future.”
