Five West Bromwich Albion youngsters are currently out on loan across the football pyramid. Here's how they got on over the weekend.

Jamal Mohammed was man of the match as Gloucester City soared to a 2-1 victory away at promotion rivals Poole Town. The defender made a handful of crucial blocks and tackles to keep the hosts at bay, while also showing composure in possession to help start Gloucester’s attacks.

The win sees Gloucester stave off third-placed Poole, who now sit three points behind the Tigers. It also puts Jamal’s side 13 points away from dropping out of the play-offs as their strong season continues.

Cole Deeming was in Friday night action last weekend as his Cheltenham Town team travelled to North Yorkshire to face League Two strugglers Harrogate Town.

The midfielder played 70 minutes in the 1-1 draw live on Sky Sports+, helping contribute to an important point on the road for the Robins. Isaac Hutchinson put Cheltenham in the lead just seconds after half-time before Cathal Heffernan drew the hosts level four minutes later.

Elsewhere, winger Akeel Higgins featured briefly during Exeter City’s difficult 5-1 loss at home to Bolton Wanderers.

The 20-year-old entered the fray in the 73rd minute, with the Grecians already 3-1 down at that point. Jayden Wareham had scored Exeter’s goal, but Ibrahim Cissoko and George Johnston compounded the misery with further efforts late on.

Evan Humphries was an unused sub in Oxford City’s 2-1 away at relegation rivals King’s Lynn Town. The win lifts City out of the National League North relegation zone.

And finally, Dan Chimeziri suffered a knock in the week and was out of the Rushall Olympic squad as they fell to a 1-0 loss away at Cumbrian side Workington AFC. The 19-year-old will be hoping to pick up where he left off when he returns to action, having put in a brilliant performance two weekends ago against Cleethorpes Town.
