Ollie Bostock netted a first-minute stunner in what was a busy weekend of action for Albion youngsters away from The Hawthorns.
The 19-year-old winger, who represents Wales at youth level, scored a brilliant opening strike for Boston United in their 2-1 defeat at home to Southend United.
Cutting in from the right, Bostock unleashed a fine left-footed finish into the top corner from 25 yards to give his side the lead at The Jakemans Community Stadium.
But the youngster's effort was cancelled out by Promise Omochere in the 16th minute, before a heartbreaking last-gasp strike from Sahid Kamara ensured defeat for the Pilgrims.
That result leaves Boston 21st in the Enterprise National League table, while Southend sit third with 27 points from 13 games played.

Up in Sky Bet League One, Alfie Gilchrist was back in action for Leyton Orient as they battled to a hard-fought goalless draw with Bradford City.
The former Chelsea defender started and played the majority of the game at Valley Parade, playing a crucial role in the clean sheet earned by Richie Wellens' side.
Their promising point sees Orient up to 12th in the league table, with the Bantams remaining second and two points off top spot.

There was a debut for Jaiden Francis-Caesar - as he came off the bench in Alvechurch's 1-0 defeat to Bury Town in Southern Premier Division Central action on Saturday.
It was a heated encounter at Lye Meadow, with the Baggies youngster in the thick of the action after being introduced just ahead of the hour mark.
The 18-year-old was on the receiving end of a poor challenge from Bury Town goalkeeper Charlie Beckwith, which saw the shot-stopper shown his marching orders, before Alvechurch were also reduced to ten a matter of minutes later.
Tommy Hughes ended up netting the winner for the visitors, keeping them second in the table as Alvechurch sit fifth.
There were mixed fortunes elsewhere for those involved across the pyramid.
Cole Deeming saw success on the road with Hartlepool United, playing the entirety of his side's 4-2 win at Forest Green Rovers.
Former Baggie Jordan Hugill netted twice on the day, with Nathan Sheron also bagging a brace for The Pool.
That result lifts Pete Wild's side to 20th in the fifth tier rankings, a place above Bostock's Boston on goal difference.
Meanwhile, both Brian Okonkwo and Carter Pinnington saw their sides suffer defeat.
Okonkwo was between the sticks for Leamington's 2-1 derby-day reverse at the hands of Stratford Town; Reece Flanagan and Kobe Hall bagged the goals for the hosts, either side of Kai Tonge's leveller.
Pinnington meanwhile was an unused substitute for Solihull Moors in their chastening 5-0 defeat at Worthing.
That result keeps the Moors 23rd in the National League table with just seven points to show for their efforts this season so far, five points from safety.
