August 2026 schedule | Albion Men's, Women's & PL2 fixtures

The opening month of the 2026/27 campaign is here!

West Bromwich Albion Men’s, Women’s and PL2 teams are all eagerly anticipating their first set of fixtures across a number of different competitions. 

James Morrison’s Men’s first team kick their campaign off on Saturday, August 8 at 5.30pm. The Baggies travel to the AESSEAL New York Stadium to take on Sky Bet League Two outfit Rotherham United in the first round of the Carabao Cup. 

They’re back on their travels the following Saturday – August 15 – for the Sky Bet Championship opener against Norwich City at Carrow Road (ko 3pm).

Albion’s maiden Hawthorns fixture of the new term sees Burnley, recently relegated from the Premier League, head down for a battle on Sunday, August 23 (ko midday).

The final match of the month takes place on Saturday, August 29. The Baggies are up at the Riverside Stadium for a lunchtime meeting with Middlesbrough (ko 12.30pm). 

Please note, should Albion beat Rotherham United, their Carabao Cup second-round tie will be played w/c August 24. 

Albion Women also have four games in the first month of the new campaign - three in the FAWNL Northern Premier and one in the FAWNL Cup. 

It's a league trip to Stoke City on matchday one for Charlie Fripp's side. They play the Potters on Sunday, August 16 (ko 2pm). 

The Baggies are also away from home for their second fixture in the third tier. Fripp's outfit face Middlesbrough on Sunday, August 23 at 2pm.

Albion's opening home game of the year is in the FAWNL Cup. Birmingham City PGA are the visitors on Wednesday, August 26 (ko 7.45pm). The maiden league fixture on home soil is against newcomers Peterborough United on Sunday, August 30 (ko).

Finally, Albion's PL2 fixtures are yet to be confirmed. Details will be announced at the earliest possible opportunity.
