Albion Women have made their first summer signing by recruiting goalkeeper Charlotte Clarke.
The shot-stopper joins permanently - having previously been with the Baggies on loan during the 2022/23 campaign, when she won supporters’ player of the season.
After making her senior debut for Derby County aged just 16, Clarke went on to gain experience at clubs including Leicester City, Stoke City and Aston Villa.
A call-up to the England U21s came before putting penning a professional contract with Liverpool in 2021.
Since leaving Merseyside, Charlotte has spent time at Birmingham City alongside a Wolves loan spell last term.
“I’m really happy to be back at the Albion” said Clarke. “I enjoyed my time here before, so I’m excited to see some of the girls again and get going for pre-season.

“I feel like the club is heading in the right direction and it’s something I want to be part of.
“Hopefully I can play as many games as possible this year, and help the team finish as high as we possibly can.”
Manager Siobhan Hodgetts-Still added: “We’re delighted to get this one over the line.
“Charlotte is a goalkeeper that I’ve always liked and watched, and we’re really pleased she’ll be on our side this season.
“She is a player with lots of experience, which won’t only be important on the pitch, but also off the pitch as well.
“Our supporters and some of the players will know her from when she was here before, and we’re looking forward to welcoming her into the group again.”
