Toby Collyer will be sidelined for a spell after suffering a hamstring injury in Albion’s Sky Bet Championship game against Blackburn Rovers.

The club’s Director of Medical, Tony Strudwick, has today provided an update on the midfielder, who was forced off the pitch during the first half of the Baggies’ 3-2 win last Saturday.

He said: “Toby had a scan earlier this week, which we received the results from on Tuesday. Unfortunately, it confirmed he has sustained an injury to his hamstring.

“We expect him to be out for five to six weeks, with a potential return to training at the end of November.

“As always, we will fully support Toby in his recovery – and if everything goes to plan he should return to match action in early December.”
