Albion have secured the signing of right-back Nolan Galves from French Ligue 2 side Rodez AF.
The highly rated 23-year-old joins for an undisclosed fee and has penned a four-year contract - committing his future to The Hawthorns until 2030.
Montbéliard-born Nolan learned his trade at his hometown club FC Sochaux, before making the move to southern France and stepping up a division in 2024.
He arrives having helped Rodez reach the Ligue 2 Play-Offs last season, playing 36 games across all competitions and catching the eye while claiming eight assists.
“I’m excited to be starting a new challenge here in England,” said Galves.
“West Bromwich Albion is a very historic football club and I am proud to be part of this project.
“I am an attacking full-back and like to get forward, but I also enjoy the defensive side of the game - which I know will be important in a demanding league like the Championship.
“It’s great to be here and I’m looking forward to seeing the supporters in our stadium soon.”
Welcome to the Albion, Nolan!
