West Bromwich Albion have appealed the red card shown to Alfie Gilchrist during the match against Hull City on Saturday.
The defender was sent off for serious foul play in the second half of the Baggies’ 1-0 defeat at the MKM Stadium.
The club have today submitted a claim of wrongful dismissal to the Football Association.
