Albion youngster Akeel Higgins has joined Sky Bet League One side Exeter City on a season-long loan deal.
The attacker made his senior debut for the Baggies in a 4-1 Emirates FA Cup win against Aldershot Town in January 2024 and has been a regular starter in the club’s PL2 team over the last three seasons.
Higgins recorded eight goal contributions (four goals, four assists) in the PL2 team over the 24/25 campaign, and the 20-year-old moves to the South West with the Grecians currently sat 11th in England’s third-tier standings.
Best of luck, Akeel!
