Albion Women Under-18s secured a convincing win over Wellingborough Town in their maiden league outing on Saturday.
Despite hitting the post, the Baggies were frustrated during the early parts of their first JPL Warrior League encounter in Northamptonshire, but soon found their groove.
Substitute Evie Fisher got the scoring underway, and just a few moments later, the visitors doubled their lead. Miley Wheeler’s free-kick was met with a header from Grace Heeley for their second.
And Heeley turned provider for the third. Lydia Davis nodded away the midfielder’s corner to seal all three points for Albion in their league opener.
