Albion introduce new Women’s U18 team for 2026/27 season

Albion Women are delighted to introduce the club’s new Under-18 team ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The group will become the first Women’s academy side to come under the club banner and are set to compete in the JPL Warrior League against other youth set-ups across the country.

Grace Cooke (goalkeeper), Alexia Jew (goalkeeper), Lexi Taylor (defender), Maddie Evans (defender), Miley Wheeler (defender), Kiah Probert (defender), Martha Hill (defender), Lydia Davis (defender/midfielder), Jemima Harlin (midfielder), Louisa Taylor-Santos (midfielder), Grace Heeley (midfielder), Evie Fisher (midfielder), Darcy Jones (midfielder), Jaida Gilling-Campbell (forward), Larna Downie (forward), Lakeema Robinson (forward) - are the founding members of the U18 squad.

They will all work under new U18s boss Jodie Williams, who joins the Baggies after experience at Everton and The New Saints. Williams will be flanked by Aaron Bryan as Assistant Head Coach, who spent time within Wolverhampton Wanderers’ academy. Kyle McEvilly joins as Sports Therapist, while Sophie Hopwood takes on the role of Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Their league campaign begins on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and a full fixture list can be found below.
