Women’s U18 Report | Kidderminster Harriers 0-3 Albion

Albion Women Under-18s continued their winning start to life in the JPL Warrior League with a convincing victory away at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.

It was a frantic beginning to proceedings in Worcestershire, with plenty of opportunities down both ends of the field, especially in favour of the hosts towards the latter end of the half - which Alexia Jew was equal to.

But Jodie Williams’ side, as they did so well against Wellingborough Town, took control in the second half. Larna Downie was the scorer of a wonderful team goal, as the Baggies played out from the back comfortably to take the lead.

Just over 10 minutes later, Jemima Harlin made it two, she lashed home a free-kick from nearly 30 yards out, ensuring the visiting lead was doubled.

An own goal secured all three JPL Warrior League points, with Maddie Evans and Lexi Taylor also lurking to score.

Albion are next in action on Saturday, October 17, when they host Rugby Borough in their first home match.

Albion squad: Jew, Cooke, Hill, Taylor, Harlin, Downie, Davis, Heeley, Fisher, Gilling-Campbell, Evans, Wheeler, Probert, Jones, Arinze, Taylor-Santos.
