Albion earned an outstanding 3-1 win over West Ham in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Felix Horn Myhre, JJ Morgan and Callum Styles - despite a Jarrod Bowen strike - helped James Morrison’s men grab all three points at the London Stadium.

The result extends the Baggies’ unbeaten run to four matches and lifts them up to fourth. Next up, they host Southampton this Tuesday (ko 8pm).

The Hammers created a few early chances, with Pablo sliding wide and Mohamadou Kante having a shot diverted over, but it was Albion who opened the scoring around the 20-minute mark.

An excellent pass by Isaac Price set Morgan free down the right – and his unselfish cross inside the area laid it on a plate for Horn Myhre to tap home.

The Baggies almost netted again moments later when Price fired narrowly off-target, while Morgan also headed over during a positive spell.

West Ham were able to hit back before half-time, though, via Bowen. The winger’s low, near-post deflected effort ensured the sides went into the break level.

However, the game changed once more straight after the restart – this time in Albion’s favour. Another slick move saw them regain the advantage thanks to Morgan’s smart finish in front of the travelling 3,000 Baggies fans.

Max O’Leary had to keep out a Kyle Walker-Peters attempt, yet Albion otherwise controlled proceedings and extended their advantage further 18 minutes from the end.

The ball reached Styles outside the box, and he hit a superb half-volley past Mads Hermansen to seal an impressive victory.
