Albion have confirmed their plans for the club’s annual dedicated remembrance fixture, which will take place when Millwall visit The Hawthorns this weekend.

James Morrison’s men host the Lions on Saturday, November 7 (ko 3pm), with a number of activities confirmed to mark the occasion.

Pre-match

Ten Sea Cadets and ten Army Cadets will form a guard of honour as the teams enter the pitch. A standard bearer, accompanied by two wreath layers from the army and royal navy, are set to lead the players out of the tunnel.

In the moments before kick-off, the ode of remembrance will be read out, The Last Post will be played and the stadium will observe a minute’s silence.

Baggies fans can help create a spectacular poppy mosaic in the Birmingham Road End during the pre-match tributes by holding up a card they will find on their seat upon arrival.

Elsewhere, collections will take place outside the stadium and in the Fan Zone, raising money for the Royal British Legion’s poppy appeal.

And a Salvation Army brass band will play outside main reception from around 12.15pm, as well as in the Fan Zone from 1.20pm.

In-Game

The players will once again be wearing poppy-adorned shirts, and these will be made available for auction via MatchWornShirt after the game has started.

Supporters will be able to bid on them HERE from kick-off until 4.30pm on Sunday, November 22.

Special poppy corner flags will also be in use throughout the game, while the half-time break will see the club acknowledge as many fans as possible across all generations who are serving, or have served, on the big screens and in interviews.

Post-match

Supporters are invited to wear berets, medals, regimental ties and other appropriate items connected to their own service or Armed forces family history. They can then visit the post-match bar in a designated section, where they can interact with other servicemen and women.
