James Morrison has given an injury update on his squad ahead of this weekend’s trip to Bristol City.
The Interim Head Coach confirmed defender Krystian Bielik will miss the Sky Bet Championship game at Ashton Gate, and is set to have shoulder surgery next week.
He also ruled out goalkeeper Max O’Leary - who came off during last Saturday’s win over Hull City - from making a return to play against his former club.
Morrison said: “Krystian has ended up having surgery.
“He was pushing it and there was a little bit more damage, so we felt it was best that he got the surgery.
“We’re hoping he might get back, but we’ll have to wait and see or reassess.
“Max, I thought after the game it was the challenge. But actually, when he went to push off, he felt his calf. We’re hoping he’ll be back after the international break.
“Chris Mepham’s going well. I think he’ll be back after the international break.”
