The Albion Foundation is pleased to recognise Kadeem Jordan, who has been named a Premier League Community Captain.

The acknowledgement reflects his steady commitment to supporting young people across our communities. Kadeem’s journey is one that truly embodies what Premier League Kicks is all about: opportunity, growth, the power of belonging, and The Foundation’s unwavering commitment to Grow Our Own — nurturing local talent and empowering our people to flourish within their own community.

Premier League Kicks has supported more than 600,000 young people since its launch, offering free, inclusive sessions that encourage confidence, personal development, and positive relationships. The programme has delivered over one million hours of activity nationally, giving young people regular access to safe and welcoming environments.

Kadeem began his own journey within these sessions as a participant. From early on, he showed a willingness to learn, contribute, and get involved. Over time, those experiences helped shape the approach he now brings to his role as a Youth Engagement Lead. Today, he uses his background to guide and encourage participants, offering practical support and a relatable perspective that many young people value.

Reflecting on his time with the programme, Kadeem shared:

“I used to be a Premier League Kicks participant and now I am a coach. When I was growing up, we didn't have opportunities like this, playing at St George's Park, where the England players actually train, taking part in a tournament on that pitch. It's amazing to see.

Events like this just didn't exist at that scale. It's been refreshing and exciting to now be part of it on the other side. I'm really looking forward to seeing even more Premier League events like this in the future.

Being a part of this excites the participants, definitely. It gives them something to look forward to. It keeps them disciplined, it gives them structure and purpose.

For me, Premier League Kicks means community and family. That's exactly what we're about at the Foundation; making sure everyone in our area feels part of something. We're all about growing our own and giving back to our people.”

The Premier League’s Community Captain initiative highlights individuals who make a positive difference within their club’s community programmes, recognising those who consistently support and encourage others. Captains are acknowledged for contributing in a meaningful, sustained way to the lives of people around them.

Within The Albion Foundation, Kadeem’s approach is consistently described as calm, supportive, and grounded. Whether he is helping a participant settle into a new session, encouraging someone to keep working towards a goal, or simply providing a friendly point of contact, he plays a dependable role within the wider Kicks environment. Colleagues note his ability to relate to young people and create a reassuring atmosphere at sessions.

His journey is a clear example of how long‑term involvement, consistent support, and local pathways can help people develop and, in turn, offer support to others.

We grow our own. We give back to our people. We build communities that belong.

Kadeem is a valued member of our team, and we are proud to celebrate his achievements.
