Jed Wallace: Grady Diangana is an 'unbelievable talent'

Jed Wallace has described fellow Albion winger Grady Diangana as an “unbelievable talent”.

Wallace has been an ever-present on the right side in Steve Bruce’s starting XI in the Sky Bet Championship this season – the opposite flank to team-mate Diangana, who has started all but one league game in 2022/23.

The Baggies No.11 provided the assist for Wallace’s first goal for his new club since his summer move to The Hawthorns at Huddersfield Town recently.

Diangana has four direct goal involvements so far this term and the former Millwall man says he’s been “really impressed” by his fellow wide man in the opening months of the campaign.

Jed said: “I stand on the wing and I’ve got players like Grady Diangana, John Swift, Karlan Grant and now Brandon Thomas-Asante up there with me.

“Grady is such an unbelievable talent.

“He’s such a nice guy as well to be honest. He’s the sort of player that you want to see do well.

“Grady is a really popular member of the dressing room and all the boys know how good he is.

“We’ve got to give him as much of the ball as we can. He’s already shown plenty of times this season the type of quality he has.

“I’ve been really impressed with his start to the season, both in training and in games.

“He’s chipped in with goals and assists in our opening batch of games and I’m sure he’ll continue to do so throughout the season.”
