The crowning of Albion’s ‘Ideal Heating x WBA Fan League’ champion is fast approaching.
There are over 550 Baggies fans competing to be crowned the top Albion-supporting FPL player. The title is there to be claimed with plenty of points up for grabs in the final month of the season.
Alongside the end of season top spot, Baggies fans are also fighting for the monthly ‘Player of the Month’ award. So, introducing April’s Player of the Month, Marcobaggies.
Marcobaggies collects April’s award with a high score of 359 points, accumulated between gameweeks 30-34. Marcobaggies was a fair way clear with their closest competitor a huge 38 points behind.
Gameweek 30 saw Marcobaggies achieve 56 points, which laid some solid foundations for the month ahead. However, things could have been so much better with the brilliant Brazilian, Matheus Pereira, only making it to Marcobaggies bench and picking up 21 points which, unfortunately, couldn’t be counted.
Gameweek 31 saw Marcobaggies learn their lesson from the previous week and reinstate Pereira to their starting XI. Pereira duly obliged and scored an excellent 18 points in Albion’s 3-0 win over the Saints. A cleverly played bench boost in the same gameweek saw Marcobaggies pick up 103 points in total, another 15 gained by Albion’s No.1 Sam Johnstone.
A huge score for Heung-Min Son in gameweek 34 was increased further by Marcobaggies selecting the South Korean as his triple captain, yielding a total of 36 points in Tottenham’s 4-0 win over the Blades.
Congratulations, Marcobaggies!
