Highly-rated right-wing-back Danny Imray makes the temporary move to The Hawthorns for his first taste of Sky Bet Championship football.
The 22-year-old spent the first half of this season on loan at Blackpool, where he featured 16 times in all competitions, scoring and assisting twice apiece for the third-tier side.
He was then recalled earlier this month to help parent club Crystal Palace during their defensive injury crisis.
And now, after featuring in the Eagles' Premier League matchday squads against Sunderland and Chelsea in the last two weeks, the time is right for Danny to return to the EFL.
Albion marks the third professional loan of the Londoner's career, with the defender spending the full 2024/25 season at Sky Bet League Two outfit Bromley.
It was an incredibly successful stint for Imray, who went on to play 43 games in all competitions, providing two goals and seven assists along the way.
This earned him Bromley's Young Player of the Season award in what was their first-ever campaign in the English Football League.
Danny came through at Chelmsford City before joining Palace in February 2021. The then 17-year-old had just scored 23 goals in 11 matches for the non-league side's under-18s, and went straight into the Eagles' under-23s.
He returned to Chelmsford in 2021/22, featuring 14 times and netting once from right-back. He then spent the following season back at Palace, making 24 appearances and providing three assists for the under-21s.
In 2023/24, Imray really got his attacking contributions flowing, netting nine goals and setting up nine others in just 36 appearances for the under-21s that year.
This set him up for his loan moves into the EFL, and he will be hoping to hit the ground running under Eric Ramsay as Albion look to climb the table throughout the second half of the campaign.
