Albion striker Aune Heggebø has been given his first call-up to Norway’s senior squad for the September international break.
The 24-year-old arrived at The Hawthorns in the summer from SK Brann and has caught the eye in his five competitive appearances so far - scoring one goal and claiming an assist alongside impressing with his all-round play.
Heggebø’s nation face Finland in a friendly this Thursday (September 4, ko 5pm) before an important World Cup Qualifying match against Moldova next Tuesday (September 9, ko 7.45pm).
Norway currently sit top of European World Cup Qualifying Group I after winning their opening four fixtures.
Congratulations and good luck, Aune!
